Re-New Surface Systems uses a patented crystal mixed with water that changes the manicular structure of regular bagged cement mixed with fine sand. Allows renew to resurfaces from a 1/4 of an inch to the required repair thickness.
The cement repair overlay can be mixed to a paint-like texture and then brushed on to cover graffiti. The Re-New Surface product can also be mixed in a wheel barrow and applied to one trip-hazard square at a time or in a mortar mixer to overlay a complete city sidewalk block.
It can be mixed in a wheel barrow to a very stiff mix to repair snow plow broken curbs, making repair without the use of forms.
Foot traffic on sidewalks overlays can be restored in as little as four hours at 18C/64F and vehicle traffic in as little as 4 days.
With the Re-New Surface concrete overlay there is NO GRINDING OF THE CONCRETE SURFACES and NO CONCRETE REMOVAL AND DISPOSAL.
Prior to the concrete repair process, the only surface preparation required is to pressure wash the surface.
Re-New Surface Systems will contract the repairs, using local staff or provide on-the-job site professional training on all concrete repairs and resurfacing. Re-New Surface Systems brings all the required concrete tools with the exception of city water and barricades, plus all materials which are supplied by the department..
The Re-New Surface Systems training is cost effective: the cost is travel expenses plus $350/day, including all tools and equipment. The city only purchases required Re-New crystals, sand and cement. Once the public works personnel has been trained then crystals can be purchased directly from Re-New.
Actual repairs are done on-site.
The crystals are Environmentally-Friendly. Therefore, can be transported through any medium.
